Catherine Cooney, MS, LPC, CSAT

Catherine Cooney, MS, LPC, CSAT is a Master’s Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Since 1992, she has treated individuals, couples, and families experiencing mental health and addiction problems in both outpatient and residential settings.

In the past decade, she became certified in treating sexual addiction and has provided specialized treatment in both public and private settings. In addition to providing treatment, she has trained other professionals on topics including sexual addiction and co-addiction.

A member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and the National Association for Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors (NAADAC), she continues professional development to offer state-of-the-art treatment approaches to sexual addiction, co-addiction and trauma.
