AssessmentsThis agency is focused on providing assessment services that cover the areas of mental health , chemical dependency, criminal thinking, anger and domestic violence. All assessments will provide a full report with clinical impressions and recommendations for treatment as well as a referral to a community agency. A follow-up program may also be available for clients upon request. This program will include on-going reports to the referral agent regarding client’s engagement and compliance with recommended treatment. Standard Mental Health EvaluationAn evaluation which may require some testing and thorough historical interviewing in order to assess appropriate level of treatment. The client undergoes a one-on-one interview that may last from 60 to 120 minutes and then may be sent home with a test or two to complete and have sent back to the agency for scoring. A full report will follow with the information gathered at the interview, including all the administered tests outcome, as well as clinical formulations and recommendations for treatment. Psychosexual Evaluation (adolescents only)This assessment would include a Standard Mental Health Evaluation with added testing that addresses sexual offenses and determines risk factors for recidivism as well as level of intervention. Some of the tools used include the Protective Factors Scale, JJPI, and ERASOR. Sexual Addiction AssessmentThis is a comprehensive evaluation of sexual behavior problems and related mental health and/or addiction issues. You have the option of requesting this service to assess your eligibility for the Inner Change program with no obligation to enroll in the program. General Anger EvaluationAn evaluation which requires some testing (STAXI-2, PAS) and thorough historical interviewing. Recommendations for anger management treatment may follow. Mental health and chemical dependency issues will also be briefly evaluated to rule out an underlying issue that needs to be addressed either before or in conjunction with the anger management. The need for a domestic violence specific evaluation and a referral to a Batterer’s Specific program will also be considered. Domestic Violence EvaluationAn assessment that includes a structured interview with 15 psychosocial factors, a clinical and a chemical dependency evaluation. The goal is to assess the need for a Batterer’s Specific program or general anger management. Chemical Dependency EvaluationAn evaluation that requires a thorough historical interviewing but no testing to determine the need for and/or mode of treatment (ASAM criteria). Mental health disorders will be ruled out with this evaluation. |
